The door

The door, bar and Player's Club

Three things meet a visitor at 525 George St in Sydney, Nova Scotia: a door rule, a bar and grill, a players card. Guests must be 19 or older, Celtic Junction Bar & Grille serves a full menu, and the Player's Club is shared with Halifax.

Age and ID at the door

Casino Nova Scotia Sydney admits guests who are 19 or older. The same rule covers the two Golfzon golf simulator bays. Across Nova Scotia, casinos are 19+, and under-19s may not enter any casino or gaming floor. Inside the building, anyone who appears to be under 30 must show valid government photo ID to be served alcohol.

Gaming-floor hours are not published. Before a visit, the way to check is the casino line, 902-563-7777. Holiday hours should be confirmed with the venue itself, on that same number, since its own pages do not list them.

Celtic Junction Bar & Grille

Celtic Junction Bar & Grille is the bar and grill at Casino Nova Scotia Sydney, and it serves a full menu. Beverage service is available during regular business hours. The bar's own hours are not published, and neither is its place in the building. A guest who wants to plan a meal around a visit can ask on the casino line, 902-563-7777. Anyone who appears to be under 30 will need valid government photo ID to be served alcohol.

The Player's Club

The Player's Club is free and shared by the Halifax and Sydney casinos, so one card covers both. To become a member, a guest must be 19 or older, show valid government-issued photo ID and fill in a short application. Listed benefits include cash back for points, member pricing on food, play-based comps, parking and front-of-the-line service. They depend on play and are not guaranteed.

Tiers run Bronze, Silver, Gold and Privé. Each one depends on points earned in the previous six months. Points from January to June set the status for July to December. The calendar then turns over: points from July to December set it for January to June.
